Job Description:
The Quality Intern will assist the Quality Control team in ensuring that all tobacco products meet the highest quality standards. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in quality assurance processes, testing methodologies, and regulatory compliance within the tobacco industry.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Design and automate, and execute regression testing using QTP.
  • Participate in daily team discussions, drive bi-weekly stakeholder demos, and help managed team stories (using JIRA).
  • Assist in the calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Data Entry, Record keeping and maintaining the File.
  • Making Production draft and quality measurement report 
  • Keeping quality lab and premises on well hygiene standard.  
  • Visit to the different production line and inspect the issue and report to the line manager. 
  • Sample collection and report preparation. 
  • Learn and apply the procedures for each task as per the instructions from the Line Manager 
  • Keeps workspace clean in accordance to housekeeping standards 
  • Performs other work as assigned by Line Manager / QA Supervisor
  • Support quality administration staff for their request/job as when required
  •  Follow company health, safety, and hygiene procedures at all times. 
  •  Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality standards applicable to tobacco processing facilities. 
  •  Use appropriate PPE while working in production and laboratory areas. 
  •  Report unsafe conditions, quality deviations, or hazards to supervisors immediately. 
  •  Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the laboratory and production environment. 

Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree / Diploma in related field

Experience Requirements:
  • Previous internship or coursework in quality control or laboratory management is a plus.
  • Functional knowledge and use of QA systems ( Equata, Vides, Quality reporting system, BO & Infosys)
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment and data analysis software is an advantage.

Technical Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of quality control procedures and inspection processes within a manufacturing environment. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and reporting tools for data analysis and documentation. 
  • Understanding of documentation management and record-keeping practices in compliance-driven industries.
  • Familiarity with QTP, JIRA, or other Quality Management Systems (QMS) is an added advantage. 
  • Basic understanding of hygiene, safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.
